Exterior Work
Exteriors of any
properties have to withstand many weather conditions and extreme
temperature changes. Wood should be treated every 3-5 years, and
masonry every 5-7 years. John Green Decor has experience in many
styles of properties.
This new home needed the
woodwork re-varnishing and we used four coats of Sadolin woodstain
on the window frames and Dulux Weathershield on all the rendering.

As you can
see from these before and after photos, this house
has pebble dashing and it was painted with Dulux Weathershield Masonry paint. The windows were originally painted black,
after being rubbed down
they had four coats of an off-white Dulux Weathershield Gloss.

This West

refurbishment.
The
project took almost nine months to finish, John Green Decor
co-ordinated the project, the works included:
 |
Sandblasting down to bare metal |
 |
Engineering works – all nuts bolts and any treads beyond
repair were replaced |
 |
Welding
work undertaken where required |
 |
Two
coats of Dulux Zinc Phosphate Primer and two coats of dulux black
metal shield |
