Paint
Effects
John Green Decor
has gained experience in various specialised decorative effects, and we are continually widening our skill base with new commissions. These
range from painting wooden furniture to custom made stencilling on walls.
If you have a decorative idea or vision for a wall or piece of furniture
then John Green Decor are enthusiastic and realistic in realising
those visions.

| These pictures below
show a plain white external stone column which we then created a faux
marble effect on.
We applied two coats of white eggshell. Then mixed a glaze of three
equal parts of white spirit, linseed oil and white undercoat. We
applied the glaze to the painted surface then mixed a small amount
of Paynes grey artist oil to achieve a mottled effect. Rag and
softened. Then using a round fitch, created veins from same glaze and
artist oil, and softened to finish. Applied two coats of clear varnish
to protect. |

This child's room
had two coats of Diamond Matt on the walls with two coats of white matt
emulsion on the ceiling. Then undercoat and gloss on the woodwork.
John Green Decor designed and arranged the collage of angels and star
transparencies. |

Two coats of matt
white were applied to the ceiling. Then two coats of diamond
matt on the walls using two contrasting colours divided by a
hand-made stencil giving this zig-zag effect. |
