Interior Work
There are many different ways to change the look of a room.
Colours and patterns of wallpaper are very much a personal taste.

Two coats of base coat, then colour washed using two different colours washed over with white. Two coats of varnish on walls used to seal the surface to make it wipeable.

Diamond Matt was used on the walls. On the spindles and staircase, two coats of primer, one coat of undercoat and one coat of gloss.
Wallpapering
This room has lots of period features including dado rail, original fireplace and cornice. Hanging the wallpaper entailed delicate cutting out around the fireplace.
The fireplace was painted with two coats of an oil based eggshell.

Painting
The ceiling was painted with 50% tint to wall colour. The cornice was painted with two coats matt paint and
the ceiling rose was painted with three coats matt emulsion.
